Token Works’ Strategy ecosystem is expanding after a community member launched a new raffle style dApp that turns chance into onchain action, built atop the popular Strategy protocol.
On Monday, $PNKSTR bull and Liberoverse founder Foogy took to the timeline to announce that NFTSweeps.fun, an onchain sweepstakes protocol designed to kickstart the Token Works Strategy ecosystem with a bit of luck and gamification, was officially live.
“THE MISSION Buy & Burn Every Strategy Token,” he tweeted. “From the start of $pnkstr journey I always had one question; Is there a way to buy all those Punks in PunkStrategy reserves? Well, we build onchain sweepstakes for that.”
The concept is simple. Users can purchase raffle tickets for 0.001 ETH each, with all ticket proceeds pooled together to purchase the cheapest listed NFT held within Token Works’ Strategy vaults, starting with CryptoPunks, Chimpers, Good Vibes Club, and Goblintown.
Once the raffle collects enough ETH to make a purchase, the protocol automatically buys the cheapest eligible NFT. That transaction triggers a buyback and burn of the associated Strategy token, reducing supply and keeping the ecosystem’s flywheel spinning. From there, one lucky raffle ticket holder walks away with the purchased NFT, while all holders of that Strategy token benefit from the buyback and burn the raffle triggered.
“It’s really exciting to see independent developers exploring new ways to build on open $PNKSTR/TokenStrategy smart contracts,” Token Works Strategy coin creator Adam AKA Rhynotic tweeted. “This is exactly the kind of experimentation we hoped to enable and the benefit of building on Ethereum. The Token Works.”
