MAKE YOUR VOICE HEARD!: The BAYC’s Made By Apes Builders Are Heading To The Voting Booth To Help Decide The Future Of The ApeCoin DAO

Calling all Made By Apes builders, it’s time to cast your coins and make your voices heard once again.

With ApeCoin holders heading to the polls for what could be the final DAO vote, Yuga Labs has reinstated the Made By Apes voting bloc; re-enfranchising over 400 licensed builders with a combined 6.5 million $Ape worth of votes to make their voices heard around the swamp!

Things are anything but boring at the ApeCoin DAO this month, as the community votes on a major Ape Improvement Proposal from Yuga Labs CEO Garga titled “Sunsetting the DAO and Launching ApeCo — A New Operating Model for ApeCoin.”

If passed, this proposal would shut down the DAO entirely and reorganize its assets under a new Yuga Labs backed company called ApeCo, led by current Ape Foundation CEO Cameron Kates.

With this being such a major vote, Yuga Labs has resumed the Made By Apes voting bloc for the first time since March 2025, ensuring MBA builders have a say in what happens next.

“To help make sure the voices of Made by Apes builders are heard on AlP-596, all MBA holders can help decide how the $6.5M in $APE delegated to madebyapesvote.eth will be used to vote,” the BAYC tweeted. “Cast your vote now: https://snapshot.box/#/s:madebyapesvote.eth ”

With their 6.5 million $Ape, the Made By Apes voting bloc will play a pivotal role in determining whether the ApeCoin DAO remains or transforms into ApeCo.

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Garga’s sunsetting AIP will need 69% support on at least 3.5% of all votable tokens casting their coins to pass, according to Ape Foundation CEO Cameron Kates.
