These bored entrepreneurs are making the Bored Ape Yacht Club proud after they were nominated for an excellence award in the branding space!
The past year has been anything but boring for BAYC inspired brand, Board Of Directors.
As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, the group has created and sold several products based on their Bored Apes including hats at Fashion Nova and clothing at Walmart.
As a result of their instant success, the company was nominated for an Excellence award by the leading trade association for the global brand licensing industry, Licensing International.
“Bored of Directors has officially been nominated for the @Licensing_Int, 2023 Excellence Awards: Best Licensed Brand Digitally Native, Gaming, NFT Category,” the BAYC inspired company tweeted.
“It really is awesome to be acknowledged and supported by the traditional licensing community, Bored of Directors Founder Bored Clint told the Gazette. “We’re only a year into the Bored of Directors and we’re being mentioned in the likes of Angry birds, Minecraft, emoji, and sonic the hedgehog. And this is all before our major international push which goes live in the next few months.
The Bored Ape Gazette is working to find out more about Licensing Internationals Excellence Awards and will keep you posted on all things Bored of Directors. Stay tuned for updates!
