MEEB OF STEEL: Scrap Metal Mogul And HV-MTL Owner Adam Weitsman Adds A Robot Meebit To His Collection!

From the scrapyard to the blockchain, Adam Weitsman has always had a thing for machinery. So it's only fitting that his newest Meebit is made of metal!

On Tuesday, Weitsman announced that he had purchased Meebit #4461 from notable CryptoPunk collector Tony Herrera in an over the counter deal.

“Just added this really cool Robot to my @MeebitsNFTs collection today, purchased from a OG friend that knew I needed this to help complete my set,” Weitsman wrote. “I feel Meebits is one of the top 10 NFT collections of all time !!!Please take a quick 2 minutes and show off your personal favorite Meeb today !!!”

 

Weitsman's newest Meebit is an eight trait Robot Voxel sporting a full suit, neon sneakers, and a red hat, making it one of the rarer characters in the entire collection.

 

As the Gazette previously reported, Weitsman's love for Meebits goes all the way back to the beginning of his NFT journey. In 2021, a friend gifted him a Meebit that looked just like him for his birthday.

Since then, Weitsman has steadily grown his Meebits collection through a series of over the counter acquisitions, beginning with the purchase of 229 Voxels from a private collector in November 2025.

 

Then last month, Weitsman expanded his collection in a major way, acquiring an additional 805 Meebits directly from Yuga Labs in another over the counter deal to become the collection's largest holder.

 

With Tuesday's purchase, Weitsman now owns 1,037 Meebits, and MeebCo CEO Sergito was thrilled to see another Meeb find its way into the world's largest Meebit collection.
