After Yuga Labs secured a favorable ruling that NFTs were not securities from the SEC, Bored Ape Yacht Club members seized the memes of production and filled the timeline with their art and creations!
Things were anything but boring on Monday after the BAYC’s parent company, Yuga Labs, announced that the Securities and Exchange Commission was closing its investigation into the company.
“After 3+ years, the SEC has officially closed its investigation into Yuga Labs,” the company tweeted. “This is a huge win for NFTs and all creators pushing our ecosystem forward. NFTs are not securities.”
