The timeline was in shambles today as the Web3 world grappled with the fallout from the Hayden Davis x Javier Milei Libra Coin scandal and the bigger questions it raises about Key Opinion Leaders in the space. But mentally, Bored Ape Yacht Club members were elsewhere, caught up in a new copypasta trend!

The Solana trenches may be cooked, but BAYC members? Unbothered. Moisturized. In their lane. Embracing the chaos with some copypasta fun! On Monday, Apes flooded the timeline with their PFPs, reminiscing about better days around the swamp.

“Everyone is angry,” tons of Apes and $Ape holders tweeted along with all sorts of boring photos. “Mentally, I’m here:”

While things may seem bad now, fear not. We’ve been here before. From the Terra Luna collapse in May 2022 to the Sam Bankman-Fried FTX meltdown in November 2022, and the Silicon Valley Bank crash in March 2023, we’ve weathered plenty of so-called world-ending events. Better days are ahead.

In fact, one of those better days is coming up this Saturday, February 22nd, when Apes, Birbs, Meebs, Kodas, Voyagers, and the entire Web3 space head to the Otherside for this month’s episode of Project Dragon, where we’ll once again attempt to break the world record for the most gamers in an online shooter!

The Bored Ape Gazette will continue to track everything happening in the ApeChain ecosystem and the Yugaverse through this scandal, the next one, and the one after that. Stay tuned for updates!

The contrast between the chaotic Web3 situation and the carefree BAYC community is pretty entertaining. Turning familiar PFPs into a playful copypasta trend seems like a fun way to escape the drama. fnf

Online trends and copypasta culture often provide people with humorous ways to express emotions, frustration, and everyday experiences. The “Mentally, I’m Here” trend reflects how internet communities can turn relatable feelings into shared creative expressions. journalword connects naturally with this theme because journaling and personal writing can also help people explore emotions, thoughts, and reactions. While online humor offers a quick outlet, writing privately can provide a deeper opportunity for self-reflection and emotional awareness. Combining creative expression with thoughtful journaling can help individuals understand their feelings, manage stress, and develop healthier ways of communicating emotions.

If you have old family photos that are faded or damaged, I recently found a really useful tool: Restore Old Photos. It uses AI to restore and colorize old pictures — super easy and the results are amazing.
