MONKEY BUSINESS: The Jimmy NFT Project Became The First ApeChain NFT To Reach A Million Dollars In Trade Volume!

ApeChain’s Jimmys are swinging from the rafters at the FunHouse this evening as the NFT project celebrates a million dollars' worth of monkey business, according to Magic Eden!

On Saturday, the ApeChain-native NFT project Jimmy became the first $Ape-based project to reach one million dollars' worth of trading volume, and these monkeys are ready to party!

“Jimmy is the first collection on @Apecoin& @MagicEden to reach a total volume traded of $1,000,000,” the project posted. “ Just the first of many milestones to come.”

After this post, Jimmy holders filled the timeline with photos of their monkeys and congratulated ApeChain as a whole for making NFTs fun again!

“Congratulations to @JimmyFunhouse, but also congratulations to @apecoin,” Cubangood tweeted. “The concept was faded, and here it is. Volume turned up to 11.”

 

 

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Jimmys have been taking over the timeline since the launch of ApeChain last month when the collection's 10,000 primates minted for 1 $Ape each.

 

In the weeks following the launch, the project dropped a secondary collection consisting of 20,000 Mutant Jimmys inspired by the Mutant Ape Yacht Club on October 26th.
