Moonpay Brought Rapper Lil Durk Into The Bored Ape Yacht Club

Hats off to rapper Lil Durk for joining the Bored Ape Yacht Club.

The popular Chicago rapper aped into the BAYC yesterday evening with the help of crypto payment company Moonpay and the company’s CEO, Ivan Soto Wright.

Lil Durk’s Bored Ape is Bored Ape #9977. Bored Ape #9977 is a six-trait golden brown fur ape with a leather jacket and blindfolded eyes. Moonpay purchased Bored Ape #9977 for 79 Eth or 252,000 USD and transferred it to Lil Durk’s wallet.

Lil Durk is just the latest celebrity to join the BAYC. As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Jimmy Fallon, Lil Baby, DJ Khalid, among several other high-profile celebrities have joined the BAYC with the help of Moonpay.
