Things are anything but boring around the swamp this evening after several Yuga Labs employees changed their X banners to "ApeChain." But it’s probably nothing.
On Tuesday, Yuga Labs’ Vice President of Product, PP Man, took to the timeline, tweeting, "New Banner."
PP Man’s "New Banner" was the word "APECHAIN" on a $APE blue background.
After PP Man’s post, other Yuga Labs employees like Baron Von Hustle, James, and Spicy all changed their banners to "ApeChain" as well.
While nothing is confirmed at this time, we do know that ApeChain’s mainnet launch is imminent and that the community can expect things like the Bored Ape Yacht Club x BAPE Season 2 collab to happen on ApeChain in some capacity at some point this month, according to the ApeCoin DAO.
“Apes together strong,” the ApeCoin DAO tweeted along with a graphic of Baby Milo and Curtis soaking up the sun on August 23rd. “APE x BAPE x BAYC This September.”
Following PP Man's post, BAYC memebrs took to the timeline to have some copy pasta fun and update their banners as well.
