NFL APES: Three BAYC Members Competed This Sunday In The NFL. Find Out How They Did
Updated: Feb 8, 2022
It was a mixed bag for bored apes in the NFL Today As Bored Ape Yacht Club Member Marlon Humphrey and his team the Baltimore Ravens defeated the Los Angles Chargers and BAYC members Von miller, Brandon McManus and their team the Denver Broncos lost to the Las Vegas Raiders.
Humphrey and the Ravens defeated the Chargers 34-6 and are now 5-1 on the season. Humphrey made his presence known on the filed today, shutting down the Chargers dangerous wide receivers. Humphrey finished the day with two tackles and one pass defended, according to ESPN.
“Ravens defense was looking like it’s back,” Humphrey tweeted after the game. “Good team win!!”
While Humphrey and the Ravens had a great Sunday, Miller, McManus and the Broncos did not. Sadly, these BAYC members and their team lost to the Raiders 34-24. In the end, the Raiders offense was just too much for the Broncos to handle. The Raiders QB, Derek Carr, threw for two touchdowns and 341 yards.
Miller recorded two tackles today and McManus went 1/1 on field goals and also converted all three of his extra point attempts, according to ESPN.
After the game, BAYC member and former Broncos player Tyler Polumbus had a lot to say about the Broncos poor performance. “A special teams coach on his first day on the job just kicked our asses……This could easily be a death spiral.”
After today’s loss, Miller, McManus and the Broncos will need to bounce back quick, because they’re set to play the Cleveland Browns this Thursday night.
As the Broncos need to get ready quick,Humphrey and the Ravens have a week to get ready for their next game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
The Bored Ape Gazette will continue to cover BAYC football players and let you know how they perform.
