NO BONES ABOUT IT:BAYC Member Phil AKA Bored.FM Launches Bored Bones, A New Project That Blends Storytelling And Games!

Ever since he minted a Bored Ape back in the summer of 2021, Web3 has been in Phil’s bones. From collecting NFTs to building BoredNetwork with his friends, Phil has been a staple around the swamp for years. Now, he’s embarking on a new founder’s journey, launching his own project that combines storytelling with games,  and everyone’s invited to ape in tonight!

$Ape could feel something in its bones and on the chain late last night after Phil, who recently rebranded as Bored.FM, launched his first project, Bored Bones.

But instead of kicking things off with an inaugural mint, Phil dropped an endless runner game dubbed Bone Dash and invited everyone to ape in, compete for a high score, and submit their wallet addresses for, something soon.

 

Phil told the Gazette he chose to start with a game because games are, quite literally in Bored Bones’ bones, and they will be a core part of the project going forward.

 

“The Bored Bones game/s are imperative to the collection and project,” he said. “I want people to feel that nostalgia with simple arcade style games. These games will evolve and change as we lead up to mint and then after. These games will be one way that holders and non holders alike can interact with the bones daily and compete for moon cycle gifts”

Building games and making interactive experiences that bring joy is a top priority for Phil, who sees Bored Bones as his answer to the toxicity that’s plagued the Web3 space since the 2022 heyday and as a hope for a brighter, boreder future.

“The FUD, the rugs, the KOLs, the bear market. Silence. Vibes gone. I wanted to create something that felt alive again : onchain, interactive, full of art, lore, and FUN,” he said. “Got Inspired by the early web3 chaos on ApeChain (shoutout Gobs on Ape and James), Bored Bones is what happens when a group of skeletons get stuck in the Void… and get so bored and sick of the VOID they start breaking reality. It’s fun, it's powerful, and it’s for the ones who lean in.”
