There is an Ape Improvement Proposal on the ballot this week that hopes to bring the Mocaverse, the Bored Ape Yacht Club, and the ApeCoin DAO together through weekly Twitter spaces!
AIP-325 titled “Apecoin DAO & Mocaverse Cross-Community Spaces & Reward Vault,” is an ecosystem fund allocation proposal written by LympoDAO founder and ApeCoin DAO Contributor Moca_Bond_007 AKA James.
“This AIP aims to sponsor MOCA MONDAY Spaces and establish a rewarding vault for the community,” James wrote. “With MOCA MONDAY we want to implement a Cross-Community focused Spaces to educate people of the Mocaverse, BAYC and Apecoin Community about general processes in the DAO, voting, and explanations of AIPs.”
As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, the Mocaverse started actively participating in ApeCoin DAO votes in June 2023 and has been casting its coins for and against AIPs ever since! Today, the Mocaverse cast 3.8 million $Ape in each vote, making it one of the largest voting blocks in the $Ape ecosystem.
Because of the role that the Mocaverse plays in ApeCoin DAO Governance, James believes his proposed MOCA Monday Spaces will be the perfect place for $Apes, Apes, and Mocas to get together and discuss the DAO.
“With your help, we can realize our exciting plans at the MOCA MONDAY spaces, where thousands of fresh eyes will discover ApeCoin DAO, Mocaverse and actively engage in the AIP process,” he wrote.
To make MOCA MONDAY Spaces a reality, James is asking the ApeCoin DAO to allocate $76,830 USD worth of $Ape to the project. With the funds, James and his team will put on weekly spaces and also create a ‘reward vault’ that will award MOCA Monday space viewers ApeCoin and give consistent viewers the chance to win either a Moca or a Mutant Ape!
