ON THE BALLOT: This AIP Wants To Transform $Ape Holders NFTs Into 3D Models Free Of Charge!

From the digital to the physical. ApeCoin DAO contributors are heading to the polls this election cycle to vote on an Ape Improvement Proposal that aims to transform Apes, Kodas, and Mocas into 3D printed collectibles—free of charge!

AIP-514 titled “3D Printing and Reward for APE,” is an ecosystem allocation fund proposal written by Popoking.

 

“We aim to materialize IPs and provide community members the opportunity to own their 3D models for free,” PopoKing wrote. “We would also like to provide income for APE community members by offering booths for 3D IP model display and sale (confirmed 1 place in Taiwan called ‘RUH CAFE;’ will find one more spot to sell and display), with all net profits going back to the APE community members. Apecoin exclusively will be used for transactions throughout the process.”

 

Simply put, PopoKing and his team want to create 3D printed models of their frens across the ApeChain ecosystem, giving them the chance to sell their likeness in stores and generate income. Take a look at some of his past work below:

 

To make this 3D printing and reward program a reality, PopoKing is asking the DAO to allocate $248,000 USD to the project over four spending tranches. Take a look at the budget breakdown below:

The window to vote on AIP-514 is currently open, and ApeCoin DAO contributors have until Wednesday, January 1st, 2025, to cast their coins and vote on this proposal.
