Tokenproof changed the way web3 participants attended in real life events and now they’re trying to change the way that ApeCoin DAO contributors stay up to date on all things $Ape!
AIP-332 titled “A dedicated ApeCoin Community Hub within Tokenproof app,” is an ecosystem fund allocation proposal written by ApeCoin DAO contributor and Tokenproof CEO, Fonzgm.
“Creating a home for the ApeCoin community within the Tokenproof mobile app will help increase community participation, enable member onboarding, highlight community projects, and further incentivize ownership of ApeCoin by securing dedicated mobile real estate to distribute news, content, and experiences offered to community members,” Fonzgm wrote.
In AIP-332, Fonzgm explained that many Ape community members already have Tokenproof downloaded, which will make it easier for the DAO to reach 'dormant' contributors via Tokenproof's platform.
“In order for the community to thrive, we must provide a way to increase participation of the dormant ApeCoin holders to nurture them into actively engaged community members and increase the reach of ApeCoin-funded projects to drive awareness and adoption,” Fonzgm wrote. “Given that Tokenproof is widely adopted by the community members holding ApeCoin, a dedicated section for this content seems ideal.”
In total, Fonzgm is asking the DAO to allocate $80,000 USD worth of $Ape incrementally to Tokenproof so they can build this $Ape information hub. With the money, Fonzgm believes he and Tokenproof can launch the initial hub in 10-12 weeks.
