ORDER IN THE COURT: The Bored Ape Yacht Club's First Made By Apes Speaker Session Will Be With Fenwick West Lawyer Andy Albertson!

Order in the court! Made By Apes 2.0’s brand-new speaker series, MBA Sessions, will be getting a legally compliant and abovebored start next week after the Bored Ape Yacht Club announced that the program’s first-ever speaker will be Fenwick West lawyer Andy Albertson!

Things will be anything but boring next week as Made By Apes business owners take to the BAYC Discord to learn more about the legal side of starting and running a business during the Club’s inaugural MBA Session with Albertson, a lawyer who’s worked alongside Yuga Labs and has been advising startups and crypto companies for the last 15 years.

“Introducing MBA Sessions, an educational series kicking off a week from today, on August 7th at 9a PST,” the BAYC tweeted earlier this week. “MBA Sessions will occur every other week on Wednesdays at 9a PST. We’ve secured a range of global experts who are stoked to share their key learnings and best practices with Apes looking to take their MBA brands, products, and services to the next level. Head over to the members-only channel in the BAYC Discord to tune in. Sessions will be about 1 hour, and will be structured as 20-30 minute presentations followed by Q&A with questions for the presenter collected ahead of time. Whenever possible, we will record the Sessions and make them available to MBAs in the future. The inaugural MBA Session will kick off with @AndyAlbertson1of @FenwickWest who will cover Business Fundamentals including Setting Up & Structuring A Business.”

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Yuga Labs announced MBA 2.0 last month.

“The new MBA platform will be launching on ApeChain mainnet day one,”  Yuga Labs tweeted from its BAYC account on July 16th. “We’re excited about taking this step to foster future growth, create opportunities for hundreds of MBA brands to utilize the power of this new chain, and continue to lead the development of brand building with decentralized IP. Rebuilt from the ground up – we’ve streamlined the UX, simplified the application process and licensing terms, and added tools for MBAs to update their profiles as desired.”

 

With this update, the MBA program will be migrating to ApeChain. Licensed builders will receive an updated number denoting whether the product is made by an Ape or a Mutant. Every licensed builder will also get access to bi-monthly talks with industry leaders, like Albertson, on everything bored business!
