The Banana Bill’s Quarter 1 Transparency Report peeled back the alpha on ApeCoin’s recently announced partnership with high-end sneakerhead and reselling brand CoolKicks, teasing ApeChain NFTs from the streetwear giant soon!
Late last night, Ape Foundation CEO Cameron Kates released the ApeCoin DAO funded Banana Bill Q1 2025 Transparency Report, revealing how 14.6 million $Ape was spent between January 1st and April 30th of this year.
within the 25-page document, Kates and the Banana Bill team revealed more about its recently announced partnership with one of the biggest names in sneakerhead reselling culture, CoolKicks, who have built a following of over 1.3 million on Instagram, 1.95 million on YouTube, and operate three stores across Los Angeles and Las Vegas.
“CoolKicks will integrate crypto-payments backended on ApeChain and launch limited-edition digital collectibles designed by and for the sneakerhead community,” the Banana Bill team wrote. “These onchain assets unlock exclusive content and access, and in some cases, physical products—blurring the lines between the digital and physical worlds. This experience will bring seamless onboarding via ApeChain-native dApps and Web3 tools—making wallet creation, minting, and claiming frictionless for everyday users. Powered by CoolKicks’ massive social reach and creator network, content will be distributed across their owned channels to drive awareness, participation, and cultural relevance.”
At this time, it’s still unclear when CoolKicks will launch its ApeChain collectibles, but the DAO teased last week that more information is coming “soon.”
