$PENGU OF WADDLE STREET: Bitwise President Teddy Fusaro Changes His Profile Photo To A Pudgy Penguin Version Of Himself!

Bitwise Asset Management was founded in 2017, manages several publicly traded crypto ETFs, and has $15 billion in assets under management. But for NFT enjoyers, the most important thing about the firm may be that it has embraced the penguin!
On Sunday, Bitwise President Teddy Fusaro changed his profile photo on X to a pengu-fied version of himself, mustache and all.
“New PFP Time to lock in,” Fusaro tweeted.
Fusaro embracing the penguin on his personal page comes after years of Pudgy posting from Bitwise and the company’s CEO, Hunter Horsley, who purchased his first Pudgy Penguin way back in July 2021.
The brand also featured a Pudgy Penguin plushie in a 2024 ETF commercial, proving that Bitwise has been waddling with the fat flightless birds for quite a while!
Following Fusaro’s profile photo change, Pudgy Penguins everywhere took to the timeline to welcome him to the huddle, with some even wondering whether the move could be a sign of things to come.
“When the president of Bitwise Asset Management changes his PFP to $PENGU, it’s a sign we are probably getting a Pengu ETF,” Pudgy Penguin member Pudgy XD speculated. “Maybe it’s safe again to be bullish on Pengu Btw, gotta wonder how much Pengu they scooped up! We had nearly a year of Pengu averaging below 1 cent!”
Only time will tell what, if anything, Fusaro’s PFP change means. But one thing is certain: He is his penguin, and his penguin is him!
