It’s officially spooky season in the ApeChain ecosystem after a swamp séance went down on Friday the 13th, unleashing 50,000 pop art poltergeists on chain and across the timeline!

Reports of NFTs’ death were greatly exaggerated, as $Apes confirmed that NFTs still go bump in the night after the ApeChain ecosystem minted out Ghost Machine, a 50,000 piece hyper pop art style collection from the team behind the OG Ethereum project DeadFellaz, illustrated by Psych NFT.

“SOLD OUT. 50k minted. Today has been really, really fun,” DeadFellaz Co-Founder Betty NFT tweeted late last night. “Thank you for joining us in bringing back the joy of the mint, the excitement of reveal, and the fun of collecting. This was designed to be accessible and playful - punchy unique art in large quantity to explore. Special thank you to  @Deadfellaz @apecoin @bleverxyz @WockNFT and  @psych_nft for everything you do. NFTs aren’t dead.”

After the mint, vibrant specters that now haunt the hashes of $Ape quickly made their way to the timeline, with collectors showcasing their spirits and highlighting the wide variety of traits and styles in the collection; which really jumps out and says “BOO!” when you remember these minted for just 1.4 $Ape, or under a dollar apiece.

“I actually don’t think there has been a collection released that is as aesthetically unique and special as this,” Betty NFT tweeted. “We often talk about the quality and effort of art in high volume releases - imo  @psych_nfthas set a new standard.”

As everyone enjoys their ghosts and vibes with this no roadmap, no promises collection, the artist behind it all, Psych NFT, took to the timeline to thank the community.

“Crazy, thank you to everyone that jumped in and supported Ghost Machine from the very start - especially DFZ, horde & all the collectors I’ve gotten to know the last 4 years,” DeadFellaz’s Psych NFT tweeted. “Very excited to activate GM across the Apechain & Yuga eco.”

The Bored Ape Gazette will continue to follow the DeadFellaz team and will let you know what’s next for the Ghost Machine collection. Stay tuned for updates!
