An anonymous whale just struck gold around the swamp!

On Friday, longtime Bored Ape Yacht Club member, Mutant Cartel founder, and Eden Block VC Founder Lior.eth sold Bored Ape #2089 to OpenSea user Tempotemporarium for 96.5 ETH, or roughly $194,000 USD.

 

 

Bored Ape #2089 is a six-trait solid gold fur primate with a puffy vest, hypnotized eyes, and a halo. Based on these traits, the Ape ranks as the #2,394th rarest primate around the swamp, according to OpenSea data.

 

Tonight, we don't know much about the buyer, Tempotemporarium, but we do know the wallet was funded 11 days ago with 99 ETH from wallet 0xf6266E3993eB308200140278695Fc6146F0d3C4d, which currently holds more than $3.5 million worth of crypto, according to Etherscan data.

The Gazette reached out to Lior.eth for comment on the sale but did not immediately receive a response.
