Q&A Find Out More About This AIP That Aims To Rug $Ape Holders!

The ApeCoin DAO is voting on whether or not to allow this “rug” project to use its logo!

Ape Improvement Proposal 215 titled “Eco-friendly Apecoin Carpets,” written by ApeCoinCarpetMan is on the ballot this week at the ApeCoin DAO.

In AIP-215, professional rugger ApeCoinCarpetMan told the DAO that he runs a company called Rich Class Décor and that he has been commissioned by many in the web3 space to make carpets based on their NFTs.

"We make pure wool handmade carpets & were commissioned by a member of the YUGA community,” ApeCoinCarpetMan explained. “They absolutely loved our quality & suggested we should provide our service as everyone loves a quality product! This is how we decided to go fully into web3 space.”

In AIP-215, ApeCoinCarpetMan asked the DAO for permission to use the ApeCoin Logo to make 500 $Ape rugs that will be exclusively sold in $Ape!

“I believe ApeCoin holders will absolutely love this limited-edition ape coin carpet that is handmade from eco-friendly finest raw materials,” ApeCoinCarpetMan wrote. “We use wool that is imported all the way from New Zealand! To make it more exciting we will enable so Payment can be done in $APE as well. “

ApeCoinCarpetMan went on to say that his AIP will not cost that DAO anything and that he will charge buyers 123 $Ape per ApeCoin rug.

How did you get involved in the ApeCoin DAO

“I learned about the apecoin dao from Grateful’s space & the comms members were talking about how they wanted to encourage artists, makers join the dao. Hodler helped me onboard & that was it super simple & easy to sign up & from then everything just went great with a flow”

How did you get into making rugs?

“I’m the third generation in the rug manufacturing line. My mother is a pioneer in the wool industry & we started with wool & then my father started his own spinning mill & making carpets was the next logical step. When I joined the family business I wanted to do something unique. Something that no one is doing that’s why we make inspirational quote rugs & the Nft rugs which are made with pure wool.”

Why do you want to create ApeCoin themed rugs?

"Question is why not?! This will be the first crypto token / coin that will be releasing a limited edition drop for its holders! Previously you’d had to have an Ape, Mutant or Meebits to order BAYC merch that everyone loves but this time it’s for the every single holder that’s outside of the NFTs! Everyone gets a chance to have something really cool! It will also show & give a message to everyone about what the ApeCoin DAO is. Supporting members outside of their ecosystem, supporting real artisans while supporting the eco friendly product. It is very important."

Where do you see Rich Class Décor’s relationship with the ApeCoin DAO going after this AIP?

“I feel this will inspire so many other upcoming artists! RCD’s relationship with the DAO will only get stronger & stronger! ApeCoin is a giant & we are excited to be a part of it. With this AIP passed & products delivered the DAO’s first prefered vendor for carpets will be us hopefully! Not just for ApeCoin but for entire Yuga ecosystem.”

Do you have anything else youd like to add or say?

“We are doing this project not just for the collectors but also for the artisans & their families. After all they are the real hero’s whose work hardly gets shown. We all have one Earth & we all must make sure we are contributing to a better environment ourselves as a father we are choosing something that’s sustainable for the future. A world class product that’s amazing in quality & no harm to the environment. The ApeCoin rug I believe is the ultimate rug for a degen! This will be the OG rug.”

The window to vote on AIP-215 is currently open and $Ape holders have until this Wednesday to cast their coins.
