READY TO REBOOT!: HV-MTL Holders Can Now Power Up Their Bots And Claim Their Amps!

After changing hands and sitting dormant for years, the HV-MTL collection is getting a major update, and it all starts with holders powering up their Bots and claiming their Amps!
On Friday, HV-MTL owners Adam Weitsman and Gabe invited their community to visit the all new HV-MTL website, turn their HVs on, and claim their Amp pieces, which will eventually be used to upgrade them from EVO1 to EVO2.

Activating your HV-MTLs is as easy as just a few clicks. Simply visit the new HV-MTL website, connect your wallet, and click “CLAIM / ACTIVATE.”
From there, select your HV-MTLs, then confirm the burn for activation and Amps.
After that, you’ll be left with a standalone NFT for your activated HV-MTL and all of your Bot’s Amp pieces.
This activation and Amp claim will not transform your Bots into their EVO2 forms yet, but it is an important first step toward everything Weitsman and Gabe are envisioning for the ecosystem going forward.
“On December 5th we’re not just burning we’re burning and activating HV-MTLs,” Gabe previously told the paper. “The way it works is your old HV-MTL gets burned and you receive the same HV-MTL with no AMPs plus the AMPs.”
Looking ahead, HV-MTL holders will need six Amps to upgrade their HV to its EVO2 form. If your Bot does not have any Amps, fear not. You’ll be able to purchase them on the secondary, or you will eventually be able to burn your HV-MTL EVO1 for an all new NFT called HV-MTL Pets, which will be the Lil Pudgy or Mutant Ape equivalent to HV-MTL’s Bored Ape or Pudgy Penguin.
As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Weitsman and Gabe purchased the HV-MTL collection from Faraway Gaming Studios in September with the promise of top tier devs, great art, and HV-MTL’s inclusion in Otherside.
