RED LIGHT. GREEN LIGHT. THEY'RE HIRED: The Other Games Crew Is Joining The ApeCoin Team!

Red light. Green light. They’re hired! After setting up events and running games around the Swamp for weeks, the guys behind the metaverse’s Other Games are officially joining the ApeCo team!

From the chain to the timeline and now on the Otherside, ApeCo is expanding. On Monday, CEO Cameron Kates, AKA HeadApe, welcomed the four man crew behind Otherside’s Other Games events abored, teasing that the fun is just getting started.

 

“Pumped to announce that the game masters of @OtherGamesXYZ are officially teaming up with the ApeCo team,” he tweeted, “For the past 7 weeks  @Timmygspt @honeybdot @morethenhype @MakaveliDlaCruz have brought a new level of fun to the Swamp on  @OthersideMeta. And they are just getting started. More games. More prizes. More communities. All on @ApeChainHUB Stay tuned.”

 

Following the announcement, TimmyGSPT thanked Kates for the opportunity and said it’s time to build.

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, the Other Games crew hosted their first ever Squid Game inspired event on Otherside back on July 27th, just days after Yuga Labs launched the first iteration of its always on metaverse.

 

“Squid Games came to mind, maybe because I just finished the series & also I went to the Squid Game experience in NYC last month,” HoneybDot told the Gazette at the time when asked what inspired them to do this.“We're doing this to have more fun experiences in the world of building experiences,” Honey B said. “To get more people coming back to Otherside and being creative themselves and really to build up the community and culture of ApeChain. Fuck around and have fun.”

 

Since that first event, Other Games has become a weekend staple around the Swamp, with hundreds of community members ape-ing, playing games, and winning prizes while vibing on $Ape!
