SENTIMENTAL AROUND THE SWAMP: Other Games Co-Host Hype Invites Everyone for One Last Otherside Family Photo Outside the BAYC Tonight At 8:30 P.M. EST Before Nexus Launch Tomorrow!

Before Yuga Labs’ always on world of the Swamp temporarily closes tonight at 9 P.M. EST in preparation for tomorrow’s Nexus launch, one Ape wants everyone to meet in front of the BAYC Clubhouse for one last photo to commemorate this early version of Otherside!

The Koda home world of Nexus is set to open tomorrow, and things are anything but boring around the Swamp this evening as Other Games Co-Host Hype hopes to get all his frens together for a final family picture before the next era of Otherside begins.

“Tonight at 8:30PM EST our last family photo in the “SWAMP” before  @OthersideMeta Nexus opens tomorrow,” he tweeted. “Meet in front of the BAYC Clubhouse.”

 

 

 

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, on July 25th, Yuga Labs launched the first iteration of its persistent Otherside, inviting anyone and everyone to jump into a Bubble Space or explore the metaverse whenever they wanted. Since then, Yuga Labs has added a soccer field, tweaked the Bubble Space experience, and invited tons of collections to bring their 3D avatars into the world.

 

As Yuga Labs built the sandbox, GSpot, MoreThanHype, Makaveli, and Honey B brought the vibes. Just days after Otherside opened, they immediately invited the community to ape in and play games like Red Light, Green Light together. Since then, the group’s Other Games have become weekly swamp staples, landing the crew roles with ApeCoin and opportunities to collaborate with Solana Gaming, the Geez, and Arbitrum.

 

 

Now, as the always on Nexus is set to open tomorrow, Hype is feeling sentimental and wants everyone to come together in the Swamp one last time to commemorate this moment in Otherside history.
