SERIOUS BUSINESS: Unserious Inc. Announces The Acquisition Of Creepz With Backing From Adam Weitsman!

From "I'm a Creepz" to they're acquired!

On Wednesday, some serious business went down in the bayou after a newly formed company called Unserious Inc. acquired Creepz by Overlord with backing from Adam Weitsman, ushering in a new chapter for one of Web3's most recognizable reptilian brands.

With backing from  @AdamWeitsman and continued support from the Creepz founders through this transition, Creepz enters a new chapter led by a team with deep expertise in brand building across crypto, consumer, and entertainment. The Unserious team brings experience leading major strategic launches for numerous projects, most notably ApeCoin, one of the largest token launches in crypto history.”

 

The Unserious team wasted no time showing they're serious about Creepz. Their first order of business was announcing the return of the project's original artist, Psychrome, who will once again lead IP development and creative direction.

“left Lemuria a few years back and sought refuge in the subterranean Kingdom of Aghartha… but the time has come for me to return to the surface,” Psychrome tweeted the news broke.

 

Following today’s announcement, longtime Creepz  Throb Lord told the Gazette that he's thrilled to see Psychrome return, Adam Weitsman deepen his involvement in the ecosystem, and a new team step in that appears ready to build.

It’s amazing news and a long time coming for Creepz and its die-hard community. Most of us have been here since mint,” he said. “ The IP and the art have always been the driving force behind Creepz. Now, with a passionate new team that clearly loves the brand and Psychrome returning as the artist, it finally feels like we have all the right ingredients to push Creepz towards the NFT blue-chip status it was always meant to achieve….The art is back.The energy is back. While little is currently known about the team behind Unserious Inc., one thing is clear, HV-MTL owner and  cold blooded Creepz collector Adam Weitsman believes in the vision.
