After two weeks of placing bets, making parlays, and a whole lot of founders’ feet pics, the results are in, GeezOnApe are simply built different and they’re on top of ApeChain and the Spotlight Season 2 leaderboard! On Monday, ApeCoin’s Spotlight Season 2, dubbed Simply Built Different, which focused on ApeChain builder 0xSimpleFarmer and his two dApps, Clutch Markets and Apes Predict, came to an end.
GeezOnApe were crowned the reward program’s back-to-back champs, followed by Clutch Puppies in second, Gobs in third, Chumpz in fourth, Mintotaurs in fifth, Zards sixth, Foxy Fam in seventh, Mingles in eighth, Fade in ninth, and AlloPass rounding out the top ten.
“I’m glad to see the geez represent as a true on chain blue chip absolutely killing it,” 0xSimpleFarmer told the Gazette when talking about the Geez placing first and his Clutch Puppies project coming in second. “ And I think second is a massive achievement for a project as new as clutch puppies on ApeChain so I’m super proud of the community.”
Following the season’s end, ApeCoin took to the timeline last night to announce that leaderboards were officially locked but hinted that something else is brewing.
“We're looking at a full house @ClutchMarkets, and the table’s still hot,” ApeCoin tweeted late last night after the season came to an end. “Leaderboards are locked for Spotlight: Simply Built Different, but we're not done here. Stay tuned for what's next. “
At this time, we don’t know what else ApeCoin has up its sleeve to close out Spotlight Season 2, but according to 0xSimpleFarmer, he'd "pay to just watch it."
