In real life is the alpha when it comes to the Bored Ape Yacht Club’s next Anchor drop after the brand announced that its latest limited edition collection will be available solely in Seoul at its upcoming pop up shop next week!

On Thursday, Yuga Labs took to the timeline and revealed that its third limited edition Anchor drop will be in partnership with Kim Seock, AKA STONROK, an artist who describes his approach as “art as a brand” and has worked with companies and celebrities in the past like Nike, New Era, K-pop artist G-Dragon, and more.
This third drop will consist of a rugby shirt, a five-panel hat, and two burgee flags, each featuring the BAYC logo in STONROK’s signature style!

“Stonrok's work leans heavily on red, yellow, and black; hard edged, hand painted, unapologetic,” The BAYC wrote. “Crosses stacked in grids. A smiley face rendered flat and blunt, bold enough to be a signature on sight. The same way people know the BAYC skull instantly, Stonrok’s signature marks and his colors do the work before anyone reads a label. That's the synergy, two calling cards that proudly sit next to each other.”
Unlike the club’s first two Anchor drops with King Saladeen and Sean Wotherspoon, this one won’t be available online. To get their hands on the apparel, Apes will have to be in Seoul, South Korea, during the club’s second Asia tour next week and stop by its pop up shop!
“Anchor Drops are our way of pulling artists and designers we respect into the world we're building, where the work takes shape through the lens of the Club,” the BAYC wrote. “Stonrok is our third artist. This one goes to Seoul.”
