This Bored Ape Yacht Club member has been capturing ApeFest’s cultish aura this year with his Ancient Monke Cult mosaics that are anything but boring!
The cult vibes are intensifying around the swamp as BAYC members prepare to don their cloaks and head to Lisbon, Portugal, for ApeFest 2024 in just 54 days!
As Apes gear up for the four-year-old ritual that is ApeFest, BAYC member 0xBrov has been adding to the mythos of this year’s event by creating mosaic art pieces of his online frens, starting with the founders' four primates!

While 0xBrov just started sharing his Ancient Monke Cult mosaics earlier this month after the BAYC’s cultish marketing for ApeFest, he told the Gazette that he’s been toying with the idea of Apes in stained glass form for a while. Originally, he wanted to create grand pieces featuring Apes with matching color backgrounds.
“I wanted to make 1 NFTs out of color-matching NFTs of the same collection,” he said. “But I ran into IP issues and dropped it for now, as I could not get 500-1000 ape holders to agree I can use their apes as tiles. then when this apefest branding came out, it started to think about it again and here we are.”
