SPOTLIGHT: Uncle Mac Went Full Old MacDonald And Grew The Pickle-Verse On ApeChain!

Things were a little boring in the ApeChain ecosystem over the weekend. The vibes were a bit sour, and the usual $Ape Spaces shifted from NFTs to food, specifically pickles. Then, somehow, an entire Pickle-verse sprouted up!

On Saturday, notable ApeChain Mines builder Uncle Mac became Old MacDonald, taking everyone to his pickle farm after an offhand comment on Spaces.

“The Wibe was actually low, the space wasn't as full as it usually is. It was a slow news day, other than there's no news and apecoin is down, and so we were just shooting the shit talking about food we liked,” Uncle Mac told the Gazette. “Someone mentioned pickles, i said something about pickles… After a little bit people realized i'd gone quite and asked me what i was doing.”

 

Uncle Mac relishes moments like this. A few comments about pickles, and he was off—growing his pickle collection from the seed of an idea into a blooming free-mint NFT project dubbed Trench Pickles, complete with 33 unique traits, all in under an hour!

 

“I draw for many hours a day everyday and yesterday I'd been drawing all day, i was already in a good, warmed up flow state,: he said. “Pickles equals nonsense, they were posted just for the people still there listening to the trenches.”

 

Since the hours after that space, the Trench Pickles  blossomed into a full-blown Pickle-verse ecosystem, complete with Mutant Pickles derivatives and a staking site where holders can jar… stake their NFTs in ‘the brine’ to earn $DIL coin.

“All hand draw, live in discord in 4 hours, generated, launched, slight cock up on minting, but now rectified,” Uncle Mac said. “Mutant Pickles already done 5k ape volume ,All built in a 24 hours period.”
