SPREADING SOON: Yuga Labs Just Added A Sick New Game Called ‘Outbreak’ To Otherside’s Main Page! Here’s What We Know So Far

Cough! Cough! A viral new game is coming to Otherside soon after Yuga Labs added “Outbreak” to the metaverse’s main page earlier today!

Things were anything but boring around the swamp Friday after astute Apes noticed that a third Otherside experience had been added to the platform’s website.

OMG ARE YOU READY GUYS,” FILW tweeted. “New game is coming soon  @OthersideMeta”

 

The new game, titled Outbreak, will be the metaverse’s second Otherside Development Kit experience after Bathroom Blitz, and it has been in the works for months.

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Yuga Labs first revealed the game back in June, and CEO Garga teased that its gameplay would be literally infectious.

 

 

“It’s basically a zombie infection game,” Garga said at the time “Basically one guy’s got the plague and he’s got to chase everybody down and get them infected. Then at the end of the round, it’s a timed match, either the survivors win or the infected win. Its pretty fun! There’s a lot of little boost and things hidden around the map to trick people. You can create decoys, you can speed up, the map is beautiful, there’s also some story behind the map that we are excited to share too. I’m just excited to get people in.”

As of tonight, we don’t know exactly when Outbreak will launch, but Garga said just two weeks ago that it’s coming soon. We also know that the game will be open to everyone because they want it to spread everywhere!

“Outbreak won’t be token gated, we want to encourage adoption,” Garga said. “If we get more people to see the potential of the Otherside platform, it’s that much easier to drive value to deeds.”
