STARPODS AND DONUTS: Tomorrow's Otherside Chat With James Hall Will Be Sprinkled With Alpha And A Sweet Treat

Tuesday will be a Starpod and donut kind of day around the swamp as Yuga Labs gets ready to sprinkle Voyagers with alpha and a sweet treat!

From frosted to glazed, Otherside is turning tomorrow’s rescheduled Starpod chat with the metaverse’s James Hall into a Donut Social after last week’s LimitBreak/ Magic Eden hack forced the conversation to be pushed back.

 

“Starpod chat with @imjameshallrescheduled for tomorrow, Sept 29 at 10AM ET,” Otherside tweeted, “Let's make this one a Donut Social. Good chat, good company, and donuts on us. Reply with proof of donut + your Glyph wallet below and we'll drop some APE your way to get a fresh one for Tuesday.”

 

During tomorrow’s chat, Hall is slated to get into more detail on two of Otherside’s key vehicles the Starpod, which is sort of like the metaverse’s personal car that Voyagers will use to travel from Otherdeed to Otherdeed, and the Starhauler, a much larger vehicle built to transport resources and other large payloads across the world.

 

As the Gazette previously reported, these vehicles will play a big role in Otherside’s highly anticipated resource game, which is set to launch later this year and serve as the backbone of the world.

 

“What we are doing right now is fine tuning what the loop of the game is and what this experience is” Yuga Labs’ Otherside Lead James Hall said on a Space on September 10th. “One of the biggest things in my mind when people talk about or say ‘Oh Otherisde’s a Resource Game,’ that’s just the backbone. That would be like saying our world is just fossil fuels game… this is just how we can get the world going and how we can build things that make this world possible.”
