SWAMP STYLE: Yuga Labs CEO Garga Confirms That An Always On BAYC Merch Store Is In The Works!

Bored Ape Yacht Club members’ swamp style is about to get an upgrade after it was revealed that an always on merch store is in the works!

From looking basic to dressing bored. On Thursday, Yuga Labs CEO Garga fielded questions about tomorrow’s Telegram sticker drop and casually revealed that an online merch store is coming and that Apes old and new will be able to ape in!

 

“Always-on merch store is coming,” Garga tweeted. “(And ofc there will be seasonal stuff too, but it’s about time we had an always-on store for new members to pick up their first pieces)”

 

 

At this time, we don’t know much about the always on merch store or what will be available. But we do know the idea of an online store has been a focus of the BAYC for a while.

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, former Yuga Labs Creative Director Jeff Nicholas first brought up the concept during a BAYC Bored Meeting in late 2024.

 “We heard you guys about wanting always on merch and wanting to always be able to go to the store and buy members only shirts, especially for new members who are like where’s my shirt and where’s my hoodies,” Nicholas said at the time. . “We are planning that for sure.”

 

While Nicholas didn’t go into detail about what could be in the shop, he did tease items like an OG Hoodie 2.0, OG Shirt 2.0, and seasonal drops as possibilities.

Again, nothing is confirmed yet, and merch plans can always change. But one thing is clear, new merch soon!
