SWIMMING WITH THE APES: Baby Shark Will Be Making A Splash Around The Swamp Soon After The Brand Announced It’s Coming To The Otherside!

From the open ocean to the swamp, Baby Shark will soon be swimming with the Apes following the brand’s announcement that it’s making its way to Otherside!

After making waves across the Web2 world for years, Baby Shark doo doo doo doo doo is looking to make a splash in Web3 by teaming up with Yuga Labs to bring its kid friendly IP to the metaverse.

Tonight, we don’t yet know everything Baby Shark has planned for the Otherside, but we do know that the brand launched a token back in August on the Binance Smart Chain, which currently has a market cap of $37.55 million USD, according to Coin MarketCap.

“Our vision is to establish a true metaverse ecosystem for users,” the project wrote in its Whitepaper. “Through this project, we aim to change the way we interact with the virtual world based on a user-friendly gaming environment. Baby Shark Universe aspires to become a safe, decentralized, and transparent blockchain platform based on blockchain technology and immersive user interface of both 2D and 3D games.”

After today’s Baby Shark announcement, several Apes with kids tweeted that this is the perfect partnership for them and their little ones!

“My 3 y/o loves hopping into the Otherside and exploring the swamp. He’s gonna be even more stoked once he’s able to run around as a Baby Shark avatar,” BAYC member Squashman tweeted. “Loving the variety of announcements these past few days on ApeFest, ApeCoin, ApeChain, Otherside… what’s next?!!”

 

Primate parents aren’t the only ones excited about today’s announcement, BAYC members old and new are thrilled to see mainstream IPs making waves across the Yugaverse.

“One of the most popular IPs in the world is officially coming to the Otherside,” DFarmer tweeted. “It’s the first massive mainstream IP onboarded as character in Otherside, the $ape fueled metaverse, and I’m sure more are on the way to apefest. This is how you go mainstream.”
