The ApeCoin DAO's 3rd Meebits PropHouse On Begins Monday And A $30K USD Grant Is Up For Grabs!

The stakes are high at the ApeCoin DAO’s third Meebits PropHouse competition as builders and artists are set to compete for one grant worth 5,000 $Ape or $30,000 USD!

The ApeCoin DAO’s third and final Meebits PropHouse competition begins on Monday, February 6th, and artists and builders from across the metaverse are welcome to submit an idea or a proposal to the competition.

However, unlike the DAO’s first two competitions, this third PropHouse contest is a “mandated round” that is looking to fund a project that is interactive and integrates $Ape into it.

“We hope this will expand the scope of what can be done with a micro grant, and attract the best talent in the space,” the Meebits PropHouse tweeted. “If you have ANY questions between now and the 6th please do not hesitate to reach out.”

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, the ApeCoin DAO approved of the creation of three Meebits PropHouse competitions in November 2022 when it passed AIP-110 titled “Meebits PropHouse sponsored by ApeCoin” written by Former Special Council Member Maaria Bajwa.

“Encouraging other communities to build with ApeCoin proliferates our reach and introduces new communities to our ecosystem,” Bajwa wrote In her proposal. “PropHouse is a way for us to experiment with this hypothesis. We can fund micro-grant programs for various communities that want to build utility in gaming and the metaverse, but don’t have access to funding.”

The window for builders to submit an idea to the third Meebits PropHouse competition opens on Monday February 6th and closes on February 13th, according to the website.
