The ApeCoin DAO Will Give The MarComms& Metaverse Working Groups An Initial Budget In 2024

The ApeCoin DAO’s Metaverse Working Group and Marketing& Communications Working Group will each have a two-month budget when they officially open for business in January, 2024.

As ApeCoin DAO Contributors gets ready to elect two Metaverse Working Group Stewards and two Marketing& Communications Working Group Stewards in December, the ApeCoin DAO’s Governance Working Group announced that they will allocate two months of operating costs to these committees as they ape into business next year!

“Election nominees! Exciting news,” the ApeCoin DAO tweeted. “The Governance Working Group and its Stewards have pledged to support Marketing & Communications and Metaverse Working Groups by allocating two months of operations funding while you plan and pass your budgets!!! How's that for a welcome!?”

Following the DAO’s tweet, Governance Working Group Steward AllCityBAYC took to Twitter and said that the GWG has not decided how much money the Metaverse Working Group and Marketing& Communications Working Group will receive.

“We recently moved out of a that allowed us to reallocate a few dollars… This will be a modest, TBD amount to help put them in a better position to pass their budgets. Under the current structure, they’re starting with no funding and expected to operate.

The Bored Ape Gazette reached out to all three GWG Stewards for comment on today’s announcement but did not immediately hear back.

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, the Metaverse Working Group and Marketing& Communications Working Group were each established earlier this year and the ApeCoin DAO is currently in the process of electing its first elected officials for these roles.

The winners of this winter’s Metaverse Working Group and Marketing& Communications Working Group elections will not only have to win a DAO wide vote, but also get a budget passed by DAO-wide vote for their committees in 2024.
