The BAYC Gave Apes An Exclusive Look At BAYC X BAPE Merch, Revealed Ape-Only Pieces, And Answered Some Common Questions!

As Bored Ape Yacht Club members prepare to bape into the BAYC X BAPE Season 2 drop this weekend, the club shared a thread yesterday, giving Apes a closer look at the merch, revealing which pieces will be sold exclusively to them, and then addressed some common questions popping up around the swamp.

Things are anything but boring this week as BAYC members get ready to expand their wardrobes beyond black hoodies and ape into BAYC X BAPE Season 2 merch drop!

 

“BAYC X BAPE® Season 2 drop info: The online sale for B/MAYC token holders only goes live on September 14 at 10AM ET via a link that will be shared from this account, the club announced. Here are the three Ape only, online only exclusive pieces,” the BAYC tweeted along with a photo of a graphic t shirt featuring Baby Milo and Curtis, a camo shark hoodie, and a camo button down.

 

Along with these three Ape-only pieces, there will also be a green colorway BAPE® X BAYC SHARK STA shoe that's limited to 1,000 pairs and sold exclusively to Apes that will drop in October.

 

 

In addition to these Ape-exclusive pieces, the BAYC and BAPE will release nine additional items, including their insane house slippers, "A Bored Ape Beer" in collaboration with Made By Apes brewery, Bored Brewing Co., a blue colorway of the BAPE® X BAYC SHARK STA shoe, among other things!

 

“Nine additional pieces will drop online during the Ape-exclusive sale, including our collaboration with @BoredBrewingCo, which will also be available to the general public in October,” the Club tweeted.

 

 

To ensure Apes are prepared for this week’s drop, Yuga Labs’ VP of Brand Production, Chad Calcagno, tweeted a Q&A addressing six common questions he’s heard around the swamp. He also announced that he will be on Spaces tomorrow morning with BAYC Community Council member J Bond to talk about the merch!

Q: How much can I buy and how can I buy it?

 A: Each item is limited to 2 of each item per wallet. Payment methods will be all major cards, and of course APECOIN! Crypto payments through Coinbase plugin.

 

Q: What will European Apes have to pay for shipping?

 

A: Each buyer will be responsible for all customs and duties fees flagged. All orders will be shipped with all required import paperwork. We cannot control which orders might be stopped at customs, but please check out our store FAQ once the shop opens for support if this does happen.

 

 Q: Sizing?

 

A: Each item on the site will have sizing information on the product page. All size charts, apparel details, fit details, and a shipping FAQ will be available once our store is unlocked and shopping begins Saturday, September 14th, 10 AM ET.

 

Q: Is this a limited drop?

 

 A: The Green colorway (Hoodie,Shoes,Shirt) and Baby Milo T Shirt is limited to BAYC members on the BAYC store. Main collection (blue camo) will be exclusive for the BAYC crew for 2 weeks, and then be available at select BAPE stores globally.

 

 Q: Where are the shoes?

 

A: The Green and Blue Colorway SHARK STA’s (each c/w numbered /1000) are coming in Phase 2 in October, also limited to 2 per wallet.

 

Q: Will the collection be at ApeFest Lisbon?

 

A: No, this collection will be dropping before ApeFest Lisbon.
