Bored Ape Yacht Club members and Curtis are crying tears of joy this evening after the BAYC announced that its highly anticipated HV-MTL collection will be revealed later this week.
“Why is Curtis crying,” the BAYC tweeted along with an eight-second video of a power source opening up. “HV-MTL reveal coming this week.”
As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, the HV-MTL collection began as DooKey Dash passes. Holders’ scores in the game determined what type of HV-MTL power source they summoned on March 15th.
In total, there are eight different power source types, Glitch, Dynamic, Bio, Knight, Celestial, Reaver, Holo, and Legendary, in the HV-MTL collection.
After the summoning, the BAYC announced that these power sources would transform into HV-MTL Mechs, and that holders’ choices would impact their robots!
“Your HV is a unique, dynamic NFT that evolves based on your decisions, so don't fuck this up, the BAYC wrote on the HV-MTL website. "There are eight different HV-Types and countless different trait combinations. Each has its own skills, personality, and roles, but they're all designed to transform.”
The coming of age of HV-MTL holders Mechs will likely happen during the HV-MTL Forge, according to the BAYC’s HV-MTL website.
“In HV-MTL Forge: build and customize a workshop that prepares your HVs for their evolution,” the BAYC wrote. “Show off your creations to climb the leaderboard and unlock special abilities. Take risks and face the dangers of the rift to discover blueprints, gather materials, and craft upgrades.”
