The Bored Ape Yacht Club Community Council Is Now On Twitter. The Full Story Here:

The Bored Ape Yacht Club Community Council is now on Twitter!

After Yuga Labs announced the creation of a BAYC Community Council in October, the group has officially joined Twitter and teased all sorts of community initiatives.

“GM Apes, we’re happy to introduce @BAYCCouncil as the official hub of the BAYC community council," the Bored Ape Council tweeted from its new account, @BAYCCouncil. “We hope to highlight, uplift, and connect with as many community members as possible using this account as the medium. This council page will be the host of official twitter spaces that will be put together and co-hosted by the council members. Details of future spaces, council backed events, and updates of community led activations will be tweeted from this account accordingly. Whether you’re an ape building for apes or just an ape that wants to chat our DMs are open! Friendly safety reminder that this account will never DM first requesting sensitive information or requiring a wallet signature. Stay vigilant Apes!”

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Yuga Labs announced the creation of a BAYC community Council on October fifth. The goal of the community council is to ensure that that Yuga Labs gets the community's perspective on everything they do.

“Every Ape in our community has directly impacted our decision-making from day one,” Yuga Labs wrote. “This council, and future councils to come, puts a more formal, efficient and consistent process in place for Yuga leadership to get community feedback and advice on an ongoing basis.”

The seven Bored Apes that make up the first BAYC Community Council are Josh Ong, SeraStargirl, Laura Rod, 0xEthan, 0xWave, Negi, and Peter Fang.

The Bored Ape Gazette will continue to follow the BAYC Community Council and will let you know when they hold their first Twitter space or event. Stay tuned for updates!
