The Bored Ape Yacht Club Teased A HV-MTL ARENA Yesterday. Here's What We Know:

HV-MTL Mech J3FF brought the vibes and some potential alpha to the Bored Ape Yacht Club yesterday.

One day after the HV-MTL collection was sucked through spacetime and made their way into the swamp, HV-MTL Mech J3FF released a five-hour long lo-fi mixtape.

“J3FF made you a mixtape,” the BAYC tweeted yesterday. “Head over to our YouTube to listen to Sounds from the Rift: The HV-MTL Mix.”

While BAYC members were catching a vibe, many missed the possible alpha that was hidden in the mixtape’s background art.

As the mixtape played, viewers could see a large venue dubbed the “HV-MTL AREANA” in the distance

At this time, it is unclear what the HV-MTL ARENA is for, but some think that this may mean that HV-MTLs will compete in battle against one another.

"What exactly is the HV-MTL Arena,” BAYC member Onenine tweeted. “Are these Battle Bots...? Thoughts?”

While we do not know what the BAYC has planned for the HV-MTL ARENA, we do know that they have at least one game or competition planned for the HV-MTL Mechs dubbed the HV-MTL Forge.

“In HV-MTL Forge: build and customize a workshop that prepares your HVs for their evolution,” the BAYC wrote on its HV-MTL website. “Show off your creations to climb the leaderboard and unlock special abilities. Take risks and face the dangers of the rift to discover blueprints, gather materials, and craft upgrades.”

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, HV-MTL Mechs are dynamic NFTs that are impacted by holders’ choices.

“Your HV is a unique, dynamic NFT that evolves based on your decisions, so don't fuck this up, the club explained. “There are eight different HV-Types and countless different trait combinations. Each has its own skills, personality, and roles, but they're all designed to transform.”
