Sunday morning will be anything but boring as Bored Ape Yacht Club member Koko’s highly anticipated casino dApp, Ape Church, opens its digital doors at 11:30 A.M. PST, inviting everyone to deposit any token into the platform and begin playing games of chance on ApeChain in seconds!

“The goal of Ape Church is to create the fairest, most decentralized games-of-chance hub on ApeChain, where projects, meme coins, and IP can build directly into our decentralized liquidity pool,” Koko told the Gazette. “At first glance, you might think it’s just another casino, but under the hood it’s a full-blown, robust DeFi protocol with massive room to scale and iterate. I’m excited for Sunday, and I hope the rest of the community enjoys it as much as we do. We’ve got some fun marketing activations coming. ApeChain on top!”

Unlike most crypto based games of chance and casino dApps, Ape Church is fully onchain, triggering three ApeChain transactions every game, and treats decentralization as a core pillar of its faith and product!

Looking ahead, Koko says he hopes Ape Church will become the Uniswap of chance and create a blueprint for others on how to build a “fully non custodial, modular, counterparty risk free - games of chance protocol.”

“Projects like Ape Church are a feather in the cap of any chain: they prove decentralization can disrupt an industry dominated by centralized custody,”  Koko wrote in an X article today. “I believe there will be a flight back to true defi in the coming years. Many of the thing you see today are semi centralized and call themselves defi. They have access to you private keys or custody funds to make the user experience easier. We will always keep the core principles of decentralization at the forefront. this is what blockchains were meant to do. We are ApeChain-native. We are ApeChain-native. We are powered by  $APE . And we are just getting started.”

The Bored Ape Gazette will be in the pews for Ape Church’s grand opening tomorrow. Stay tuned for updates!
