The Welcome Apes Will Be Hosting Its First Ever 'Welcome Wednesday' Space Tomorrow Night!
The Bored Ape Yacht Club's community-led welcoming committee, Welcome Apes, will be introducing new members to the swamp and helping them get involved during the group's first-ever 'Welcome Wednesday' Space tomorrow night!
Ten days after fifty BAYC members band together with the goal of greeting new Apes and getting them connected around the swamp, the Welcome Apes will be holding its first-ever Welcome Wednesday Space tomorrow at 5 P.M. EST!
“Please set a reminder to join @ChrisJourdan and @WelcomeApes for our first Welcome Wednesday space to celebrate the newest members of the @BoredApeYC,” the group tweeted.
“We'll be welcoming new apes to the club and introducing them to any regional clubs and other sub-communities,” Jourdan told the Gazette. “But all apes should tune in and get to know our newest club members, learn more about them, their background and their "why" behind joining the club.”
As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, longtime BAYC member VickiJEth and BAYC newcomer, BullaBulla, came up with the idea of Welcome Apes during an episode of the 'Coffee with Captain Morning' show last week.
“This idea spawned into the newly formed Welcome Ape Committee, an initiative designed to help them find their way around our huge eco system,” Vicki told the Gazette. “We have so much to offer let’s help new members on bored!”
The Bored Ape Gazette will be in attendance during tomorrow’s space and will keep you posted about all the new primates. Stay tuned for updates!
