The Window For KodaPendant Holders To Claim Their Necklaces Closes Tomorrow At 12 PM EST

The window for Gucci KodaPendant holders to claim their physical Otherside Relics by the luxury fashion house closes tomorrow afternoon.

Three months after Gucci sold 3,019 Kodapendants for 1,358,550 $Ape or $5,719,000 USD, Yuga Labs took to Twitter to remind everyone that the window to claim their physical Gucci necklaces closes tomorrow at 12 P.M. EST.

“The physical KodaPendant claim will close in 24 hours,” Yuga Labs tweeted from its OthersideMeta account this afternoon. “ Visit https://kodapendant.gucci.com to claim. If you had issues claiming your physical KodaPendant during the claim period, please email support@yugalabs.io.”

The physical Gucci necklaces are made entirely from 925 silver and have a 50 CM (nearly 20 inches) length chain, and also feature an identification number on the back of the Koda shaped pendant according to Gucci.

Along with the physical necklace, KodaPendant holders also received an immediate metadata update to their Kodas/ Vessels, and they will receive an upcoming cosmetic upgrade to their avatars once the Otherside opens later this year.

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, KodaPendants are the first of possibly many Otherside Relics by Gucci and they are part of the luxury fashion house’s multi-year partnership with Yuga Labs that was first announced on March 27th, 2023.

“We are excited to unveil this multifaceted partnership with Yuga Labs, a leader and creative pioneer in web3,” Robert Triefus, Gucci’s senior executive vice president, corporate and brand strategy, and chief executive of Gucci Vault & Metaverse Ventures, said in a press release at the time. “This will give us an active role in Otherside and 10KTF’s continuing narrative, unfolding in multiple forms.”
