These Elite Apes Have Partnered With Hong Kong's Olympic Fencing Team To Create Comics And NFTs

Earlier this month the Elite Apes, a Hong Kong based community of over 150 Bored Ape Yacht Club members, announced their partnership with Hong Kong’s Olympic gold medalist foil fencing team.

“We are now in a partnership with the foil fencing team to co-create NFTs and comics (also print copies),” Elite Apes Founder Jason Au told the Bored Ape Gazette.

These comics and NFTs will follow the Elite Apes as they travel the world with the foil fencing team competing in tournaments.

“We will embed our apes, cultural learning, and follow the sports in real time,” Au said.

The physical comic will be distributed to primary schools in Hong Kong to educate students on Web 3 and the sport of fencing, according to Au.

The Elite Apes hope to have these comics and NFTs available for purchase later this year. The Bored Ape Gazette will continue to follow the Elite Apes and will let you know more about their collaboration with the fencing team as more information becomes available.
