This Astronaut Bored Ape Went To The Moon, Selling For 100 Eth This Morning.

The Bored Ape Yacht Club got a new member this morning as Opensea User ZennyPunk purchased an astronaut bored ape for 100 Eth.

ZennyPunk purchased Bored Ape #6709 for 100 Eth or roughly $420,000 USD this morning. Bored Ape #6709 is a five trait gray fur ape in a spacesuit and a pair of holographic glasses. Based on these traits, Bored Ape #6709 is the 1946th most rare ape, according to Rarity Tools.

“This one was just a matter of time,” BAYC collector DFarmer tweeted after the sale.

This is only the second time that Bored Ape #6709 has been sold, according to Opensea data. Bored Ape #6709’s previous owner, spacecowboys_vault purchased the astronaut primate for .75 Eth on May 8th.

“Holy sht this ape is amazing,” Nobs.eth tweeted. “Purchased for .75 7 months ago… wow, congrats to both parties.”

After the sale of Bored Ape #6709, the new floor price for the space suit trait is 123 Eth or $516,000 USD.
