This BAYC Member, Bought The M1 Mutant Of Adidas' Ape And Is Offering It To Them For 4206.9 ETH

This Bored Ape Yacht Club member purchased the M1 Mutant version of Adidas’ Bored Ape and now he’s giving the company 72 hours to purchase the mutant ape from him before he begins taking offers on the primate.
As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Opensea user 0x21a1 sold Mutant Ape #27548 to Lendtek.eth AKA Salzottoli. Eth for 42.69 Eth or $140,877 USD.
Mutant Ape #27548 is the M1 mutant variation of Adidas’ bored ape, Bored Ape #8774 AKA Indigo Herz. Bored Ape #8774 and Mutant Ape #27548 are six trait blue fur apes with a fisherman's hats, gold hoop earrings and heart glasses.
As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Adidas’ Ape, Indigo Herz, has become a celebrity of sorts in the NFT community. The blue fur primate was featured in Punks Comic 2, was used in Adidas’ metaverse marketing and has been Adidas Originals’ profile photo for months.
This morning, Salzottoli took to Twitter to let the community know that he has listed Mutant Ape #27548 as a private sale for Adidas.
“Gm frens @adidasoriginals originals your Bored Ape Indigo Herz #BAYC#8774 Drank an M1 serum and became Mutant Ape #MAYC#27548,” Salzottoli tweeted. “We are holding him safely for @adidasoriginals for the next 72 hours. The sale will be listed exclusively to the wallet that purchased Indigo. If the reserve is not met within the 72 hours the private auction will be closed and reopened to the public to the highest bidder. @nike @puma @reebok @supremenewyork. Do you really want to lose ownership and commercial usage rights given to the consumer over their NFT on all of the merchandise, apparel, branding, additional series to the comics? The Bored Ape Gazette spoke with Salzottoli who said that he listed the mutant ape for 4206.9 Eth or $13,882,000 USD. “In reality peanuts to the millions they will generate off selling merchandise alone,” Salzottoli told the Bored Ape Gazette.
So far, Adidas has not reached out to Salzottoli but he’s hopeful that a deal can be made with the multinational corporation. “Hopefully to go down in the NFT legend books as the guy that sold adidas there mutant,” he said.
