As prices for rare fur bored apes continues to rise, this Bored Ape Yacht Club member decided to make a big purchase before another fur is out of their price range.

Bored Ape Yacht Club member NFTCrypto3 purchased Bored Ape #9481 for 30 Eth or around 60,000 USD on Friday.

After the purchase, NFTCrypto3 took to Twitter to announce the purchase.

“Ok, my first trippy, NFTCrypto3 tweeted. “Glad to own one before I can't afford it anymore.”

Bored Ape #9481 is a five trait trippy fur ape with a lumberjack shirt and a angry eyes. Based on these traits, #9481 is the 1271st rarest ape, according to Rarity Tools.

While the eyes may be classified as “angry” according to the trait, NFTCrypto3 told that Bored Ape Gazette that they think the eyes symbolize a different emotion when asked why they purchased his particular trippy fur ape.

“Always wanted a trippy, can’t afford gold anymore lol, and I like this one because the looks super determined,” NFTCrypto3 said.

With the addition of Bored Ape #9481, NFTCrypto3 now owns five bored apes and one Bored Ape Kennel Club dog worth at least 104.4 ETH, according to Evaluate. Market.
