TIFFANY BLUE TROLL: Tiffany& Co Executive VP Alexandre Arnault Joked That He Was The Mystery Buyer Of CryptoPunk #3100

On Tuesday, Alexandre Arnault, the Executive Vice President of Tiffany & Co. and the son of one of the richest men in the world, trolled the Web3 community by changing his profile photo to the Alien CryptoPunk that sold yesterday for $16,000,000 USD, claiming to be the mystery buyer!

Following the second-highest on-chain CryptoPunk sale in history, many in the Web3 community speculated that the mystery buyer could be Arnault, who is currently Punkless!

This speculation clearly reached Arnault, who decided to poke some fun at the Punks and change his PFP from a photo of himself to the Alien Punk, CryptoPunk #3100!

Following this post, everyone around the swamp and the broader Yugaverse was congratulating Arnault on the purchase, unaware that he was Tiffany Blue trolling them.

Shortly after this post, Arnault posted another tweet letting everyone know that he was not the mystery buyer.

 

“Too many rumors so I had to make a joke… not April fools but close,” he tweeted. “congrats to the new owner of punk #3100! (It’s not me) Hit me up for a  @TiffanyAndCo pendant.”

While Arnault was not the buyer of CryptoPunk #3100, he is looking for a forever Punk after selling his PFP last month.

“Like with great art taste changes and after 2 years of identifying as a 3D I thought it was time to check for other attributes,” he wrote. “Punk forever. Going to give myself some time to find the new perfect match! And then we can have fun again and make great products.”
