Timbaland Explains Why He Aped Into Yuga Labs. Also Read About His Record Label Ape-In Production

Following Yesterday’s Yuga Labs seed round investor announcement, producer and longtime Bored Ape Yacht Club Member Timbaland told his follower he aped into the Web3 company.

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Timbaland joined the BAYC on October 29th,2021. Timbaland’s ape is Bored Ape #590. Bored Ape #590 is a five-trait brown fur ape with scumbag eyes a bored mouth and hip-hop clothing. Based on these traits, Timbaland’s ape is the 5940th most rare ape, according to Rarity Tools.





Since joining the BAYC last year, Timbaland launched Ape-in Productions. Ape-In Productions (AIP) is the first NFT-based record label. Through AIP, Timbaland is working with BAYC members to produce and animate music around the club.





Recently, Timbaland and the record label released its first Music video “ApeSh!t” staring TheZoo. TheZoo is the first NFT hip-hop group, according to AIP.
