WELCOME HOME: Yuga Labs' 0xQuit Opens Claim Site To Reunite More Than 23,000 Rescued NFTs With Their Collectors!

The rescue mission is over and thousands of NFTs are safe. Now it’s time to reunite more than 23,000 J-Pegs with their collectors!

On Friday, Yuga Labs’ Head of Blockchain, 0xQuit, conducted a massive white hat rescue after discovering a vulnerability in Limit Break’s Payment Processor contracts used by marketplaces like Magic Eden and OSWiki.

Now, the next phase is underway.

“Claim site is live,” he tweeted. “If I was able to save your NFTs, you can now reclaim them. You will have to revoke the PaymentProcessor approval first, if you haven't already. You may also opt to donate as part of your transaction. nftsaresafu.xyz”

 

As the Gazette previously reported, 0xQuit was able to save more than 23,000 NFTs worth a collective $6 million, spending more than $7,500 of his own money on gas to complete the rescue.

It’s hard to overstate the scale of what he pulled off. Thousands of NFTs that were at risk of being stolen are now on their way back to their rightful owners. 0xQuit saved NFTs.

Tonight, impacted collectors can visit 0xQuit’s NFTs Are Safu website, connect their wallets, revoke the affected Payment Processor approval, and reclaim their rescued assets for free, but tips are appreciated!
