Gamers are ape-ing into the expanded Yugaverse this evening after Faraway Gaming Studios and Novel Labs teamed up with Starbase to make their Serum City world-builder game open to everyone!
As the old saying goes, it's a dog-eat-dog world out there, and that's especially true on the streets of Serum City after Faraway Gaming Studios and Novel Labs invited every Web3 gamer to ape into the hustle and bustle of Serum City and fight for a place at the boss's table.
“Starbase, the gaming missions platform built on @Starnet, is proud to announce a partnership with Faraway and Novel Labs; offering an exclusive pathway to Serum City without the prerequisite need for buying or owning expensive NFTs,” Starbase wrote in a press release today. “This collaboration opens the doors for all gamers to explore the immersive world of Serum City while also earning Gems on Starbase by completing missions.”

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Serum City reopened last month for its second season.
In Season 2, players will participate in all-new illicit game modes, like gambling at the Washroom for Cigs and Cartel Chips, and player vs. player battles in the Clink with Franken Bombay. The game has also added a new ‘pawnbroker’ feature with Codeiaks, where players can craft and purchase rare and time-sensitive items.
In this second season, players are not only competing for a piece of a $100K prize pool, but they are also accumulating $Serum points that will eventually turn into $Serum governance tokens for Novel Labs’ new Serum DAO.
