WHAT'S COOKING: Bored N Hungry's New Ownership Group Announced More Locations In Asia, More Popups, And A New USA Restaurant!
Bored N Hungry’s new ownership group, HungryDAO, fired up the metaphorical grill yesterday and served the Web3 world an update on their plans for the rest of the year, including new locations in the Philippines and South Korea, pop-ups across Asia and at ApeFest, and a continued search for a new USA location!
Four months after Bored N Hungry’s co-founder Andy Nguyen announced that the Bored Ape Yacht Club-inspired burger restaurant brand had been sold to HungryDAO, the new owners took to Twitter to give the Web3 world and foodies an update on the brand and its delicious smash burgers!
“New leadership. Same old winning recipe. Still Bored and Hungry,” Hungry DAO tweeted from the official Bored N Hungry Twitter yesterday.
In their first post since officially purchasing Bored N Hungry,” HungryDAO said that Nguyen and the previous team will continue to be a part of the brand, that the burgers are staying bored and delicious, and that they’re looking to expand later this year and beyond!
“HungryDAO remains committed to being Bored and Hungry,” they wrote. “We are honored to continue the growth of the brand from Long Beach, California, to Manila, Philippines, to Seoul, South Korea, and to the rest of the world. What to expect from us next? 2 more stores in Philippines and 1 more store in Korea for 2024 More pop-ups in new locations. We’re working on pop-up in Shanghai and pop-up in ApeFest in Lisbon for Q4 2024 Exploratory discussions for new locations in USA. And we want you to help us in this journey!
